1. Who we are
RequestQ.io (“RequestQ”, “we”, “us”) provides a SaaS platform that powers DJ request lines, donations, and controller workflows. This policy covers the marketing site, hosted request experiences, and related APIs made available through requestq.io, requestq.io, and associated subdomains.
2. Information we collect
- Account & onboarding data: DJ or venue name, email, phone, billing details, and deployment preferences.
- Request & queue inputs: Guest names, dedication text, requested tracks, tip amount, and confirmation metadata.
- Usage data: Device/browser info, IP address, controller activity, and aggregate performance telemetry.
- Support content: Emails, chat transcripts, and attachments you share with our team.
3. How we use information
- Provision and secure request queues, controller logins, and microsites.
- Provide customer support, product updates, and onboarding communications.
- Process payments and tips through third-party partners you configure.
- Monitor service performance, detect abuse, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Data sharing & disclosure
We share data with processors that help us operate RequestQ (cloud infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, payment/tip partners). Each provider is bound by contractual confidentiality and security requirements. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of RequestQ, our customers, or the public.
5. Cookies & tracking
The marketing site uses essential cookies for session management and optional analytics pixels to understand product interest. The hosted guest portal relies on local storage to remember request history on the attendee’s device. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit certain features.
6. Data retention & security
We retain account, queue, and billing records for as long as your tenancy remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet contractual and legal requirements. We implement encryption in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging, and continuous monitoring. If you need data deleted sooner, contact us using the address below.
7. Your choices
- Update profile, controller, and billing details inside the RequestQ dashboard.
- Request data export or deletion by emailing privacy@requestq.io.
- Opt out of marketing communications via the unsubscribe link inside each email.
- Configure controller access (PIN or third-party SSO) to limit who can view guest data.
8. International data transfers
RequestQ operates from the United States. When you access the platform from another region, you consent to transferring data to the U.S. and to any other country where our subprocessors operate, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.
