1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, deploying a microsite, or accessing the RequestQ controller, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the organization you represent. If you do not agree with these terms, you must stop using the services.
2. Accounts & security
- You are responsible for safeguarding controller PINs, OAuth credentials, and any API tokens we issue.
- Notify RequestQ immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or credential exposure.
- We may suspend access to protect the platform when suspicious activity is detected.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload malware, unlawful content, or material that infringes third-party rights.
- Misrepresent guest donations, impersonate another DJ, or scrape catalog data without permission.
- Bypass rate limits, probe infrastructure, or use the service for competitive analysis without consent.
4. Payments & subscriptions
Paid plans renew automatically at the interval shown during signup unless you cancel before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. By enabling tip or payment links, you authorize RequestQ to transmit the necessary metadata to your chosen payment partners.
5. Service availability
We strive for high uptime but may perform scheduled maintenance or urgent fixes. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control (ISP failures, cloud provider outages, etc.). Certain beta features may be modified or discontinued at any time.
6. Customer content
You retain ownership of the tracks, artwork, setlists, and profile content you upload. You grant RequestQ a limited, worldwide license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the services. You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload the content you provide.
7. Third-party services
RequestQ integrates with payment providers, OAuth identity services, MQTT brokers, and other third parties. Your use of those providers is subject to their respective terms, and RequestQ is not responsible for third-party failures or data handling practices.
8. Disclaimers
The services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific tip amounts, request volume, or audience outcomes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RequestQ’s total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the services will not exceed the fees you paid during the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Modifications & termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard or email. Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. You may terminate your account at any time; upon termination we will delete or return your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless both parties agree to an alternate forum.
